SB2 Event Research

Leeds Gin Festival takes place in the Town Hall at the end of June and start of July from the 30th to the 2nd there are evening and afternoon sessions which are timed 6.30pm - 11pm and 12.30pm - 5pm.
When people arrive at the festival they will be given a glass and a brochure that tells them all about the gins available at the festival.

The bars at the event do not accept cash so there is a token system in place, £5 will buy you one which will equate to a single measure of gin, garnish and a Fever-Tree mixer. The event will include live music and entertainment, talks from gin industry experts, delicious food and lots of chi chat with other gin lovers!

The event is open to all whether you're an expert or having your first taste of gin there will be a lot of staff there to teach and help you choose.

The event is strictly 18+ and enforce a challenge 25 policy. It has been running since 2013 with the first event being held in Leeds, it now travels to a number of locations (20 in total) including Swansea, Nottingham and Bristol. It began with husband and wife Jym and Marie Harris who are massive gin fans and wanted to create somewhere that people could go to discover new gins, learn about the spirit and have a fun night.

There will be a range of different gins to try at the festival and Fever Tree are the partner for tonic water and other mixers. The event also has an online shop where you are able to buy a wide range of independent gins, there are filters for what they taste of, what garnishes are recommended and where they are from.
