Ping:
logo needs to be text based, staying away from the colour blue, any typographic style and graphical style.
I used orange and red as they are colours known for alerts. As ping is a messaging service it is all about communication and notifications are a way to let people know they have a message. Ping is in a chat bubble with a notification attached, anyone looking at this logo would immediately know what kind of business/service ping is.
