After evaluating all of our ideas we agreed on some guidelines for all of the work we would produce. Keeping the colour palette basic with white, black and red avoids distracting from the work however will stand out and attract attention on the posters and flyers for promotion.
The typeface chosen is the same as The Sun newspaper a tabloid known for catching people’s attention and the logo is a play the red used in a lot of newspapers, 3 layers to represent the screen, ink and paper of a screen print process as this is the most used process for students work.
The body text is Times LT Std Roman which is seen a lot in broadsheet newspapers, we wanted to bring the two contrasting designs together - utilising the factors from both see figure 5 for all of the branding.
