We all decided to look at styles of branding and design in general that we admired, and believed would work for the style of exhibition. After looking at the different styles we all liked we decided that the branding as a starting point would be quite minimal, using sans serif typefaces and keeping the colour palette to a minimum as to not distract from the artwork.
