SB7: Initial Name Ideas

A restaurant/ bar entrepreneur needs a name and brand identity that will stand out on the busy Bold Street in Liverpool. The restaurants menu will be most vegetarian and inspired by local seasonal produce with a European twist. Consisting of mainly small plates and colourful smoothies and cocktails, the restaurant will be a relaxing place for any occasion - be it a quick work lunch or a big birthday celebration.

Name ideas:

Jardín

As the menu will consist of dishes inspired by seasonal and local produce - as well as being mainly vegetarian the word 'garden' is relevant, but simply 'garden' as a restaurant name doesn't sound too appealing I played around with the word in different European languages and liked the sound of the french translation Jardín. 

Root Society

The idea behind this name is a restaurant that is mainly plant based, and the type of place people go back to - it becomes a society type place. It implies that the restaurant has a friendly environment and specialises in what they serve.

From The Garden

This idea is the most traditional British sounding, it is clear that the restaurant will serve vegetarian dishes and that they will likely be locally sourced. The name is longer than the other two and so I will experiment with some logo types to see what works best.
