Magnolia Table is infused with Joanna Gaines' warmth and passion for all things family, prepared and served straight from the heart of her home, with recipes inspired by dozens of Gaines family favourites and classic comfort selections from the couple's new Waco restaurant, Magnolia Table.

Magnolia Table includes 125 classic recipes—from breakfast, lunch, and dinner to small plates, snacks, and desserts—presenting a modern selection of American classics and personal family favourites. Complemented by her love for her garden, these dishes also incorporate homegrown, seasonal produce at the peak of its flavour. Inside Magnolia Table, you'll find recipes the whole family will enjoy, such as:
  • Chicken Pot Pie

  • Asparagus and Fontina Quiche
  • Brussels Sprouts with Crispy Bacon, Toasted Pecans, and Balsamic Reduction
  • Peach Caprese
  • Overnight French Toast
  • White Cheddar Bisque

  • Mac and Cheese
Full of personal stories and beautiful photos, Magnolia Table is an invitation to share a seat at the table with Joanna Gaines and her family.

The contents page is very clear with what the book includes, split up into ingredients you should have in stock, a tools list and then types of food such as breakfast, small plates and desserts.

There are illustrations and descriptions of tools that will come in handy for recipes that the books include.

The recipes feature a description, how long the prep, cook and cooling time is clear at the top. Underneath is the precise ingredients, as well as the method. The method is nicely split up into numbered stages. Underneath the method it also tells you how many the recipe makes. There are also pictures that show you some of the steps of the method - this helps the user know that they are on track with how it should be looking and done at that point.
